INGREDIENTS:
For Koftas:
500 gms Kheema (minced mutton)
2 medium sized Onion (cut and golden fry it in oil)
2 Tea spoon Red Chilli powder
1 table spoon finally chopped Coriander and Mint leaves.
1 tea spoon Garam Masala.
1 tea spoon Ginger Garlic paste
Salt to taste and Oil for frying.
For Gravy:
50 Gms Kaju (Cashewnut, soak them in hot water for an hour and grind them into a fine paste)
2 small size Onion, grind into a paste
1 tea spoon Ginger- Garlic paste
1 teaspoon dry powder of Coriander and Jeera
1 cup Cream or Curdor Coconutmilk (according to taste which u like to prefer).
2 pinch of Saffron (soaked in a teaspoon of milk).
Salt to taste and Oil.
DIRECTIONS:
Grind the fried onion.
Mix all the ingredients of koftas and mix very well.
Make the mediun sizes ball and deep fry them in an oil. Keep them aside.
For the gravy:
Put some oil in a pan.
Then add onion paste, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, dhania, jeeara powder, salt and fry for few minutes, when oil and masala have separated add paste of cashew and again fry for a minute
Then add curd, cream or coconutmilk whatever u like and add a glass of water. And boil the gravy when it gets thick add fry koftas and boil for a five minutes. When the Shahi Kofta ready sprinkle saffron (kesar added milk on kofta. Serve with boiled Rice or Nan.
